Sauna walls
ITS sauna walls are made of natural linden. Cladding board’s size is 15x95 mm. Linden’s color is nicely a bit rosy and wood has a good smell.
Sometimes walls are made completely or partially of Canadian cedar which has light- or dark brown stripes and nice specific smell.
Ceiling
Ceiling in standard size saunas has the same cladding as walls. It is flat as a rule. Sometimes cladding is fixed diagonally.
Often ceiling has star sky lamps on it. They are safe and beautiful.
Moldings
ITS uses square cut moldings. Other configurations when high temperatures might cause strains.
Floors in kit sauna
Kit saunas have no floors in a package. Instead customer has already floor made of tiles usually of bright colors. The floor is covered by wood grating made of linden. It is more hygienic.
Benches
As a rule, benches are made of apache wood boards 28x95 mm. This is a low heat conductive wood material similar to African oak tree. Configuration and sizes of benches have a lot of varieties.
Upper benches are usually for lying and their width is min. 600 mm wide.
Cladding between benches might differ according to the customer’s taste.
Lighting
Lighting in sauna does not need to be bright. Proper shape and location of lamps gives better relaxation. We usually use thermoproof Lindner lamps with ceramics bases. Lamps are covered with ITS made wooden shades.
It is also possible to use 12-volt lightning pipes instead.
ITS may offer different types of lamps for casual and executive saunas. Lamps may be installed either on the ceiling or under seat platforms.
Star sky – lighting system has a great variety of design – from lamps and crystals up to pictures and text.
Stove fencing
Stove fencing is primarily for safety and protection.
ITS saunas have fencing according to the safety certificates for the stove. Due to it the fence is completely safe from burning. Fencing has a lot of varieties. It is recommended to make its design the same as the walls.
